THE PURPOSE
The purpose of Theta Rho Nu is to provide synergetic connection between men exceling in scholastic and career advancement who are of similar life experience. Theta Rho Nu was formed from a desire to elevate the community of professional and academic same-gender loving minority men, and create pathways of change for members individually, the organization collectively, and the community as a whole. Theta Rho Nu was sparked from a need to fill a void and bridge a gap between the potential of thought and the kinetic actions of service, celebration, and camaraderie.
THE VALUES
Theta Rho Nu is devoted to the collective elevation of professional same-gender loving minority men and the increased representation of such throughout all platforms based upon the precepts of synergist collaboration, self-recognition in service to others, and examples of excellence in action. Theta Rho Nu believes that the first step to achieving goals and greatness is recognizing the ability to attain it by seeing someone of similar experience achieve it too.
THE IMPACT
Theta Rho Nu prides itself on impacting the lives of its members through professional development and networking opportunities. The impact is then expanded to the community through concerted service and philanthropic objectives aimed at efficacious and positive change.

Welcome to the Throne Room
Envisioned in 2021 Theta Rho Nu, also known as ThRN or Throne, is an organization created for the Professional Minority Same-Gender Loving man.
Rooted in a desire to both create of network of excellence in service and a standard of exemplary delivery Throne aims to engender an environment of celebration and elevation of its members.
This is an organization that is Of the Members, By the Members, and For the Members. We understand that that effective leaders work from the front, but can only make progress when those behind them are just as dedicated to achieving the goal. Concerted effort means that everyone must give input and each members’ value must be assessed and utilize in its proper place for the best outcomes.
In Throne we believe in allowing the subject matter experts to lead the way in their various areas, and promoting the best equipped to positions of leadership, with the support of the general membership. The desire for titles does not qualify for leadership roles in Theta Rho Nu.
Our Service and Philanthropic goals are developed with the needs of the community and the desires of the Brotherhood in mind, so that the impact of those efforts are fulfilling to the spirit of the organization but also efficacious to the requirements of the people.
National Initiative
Black Books Matter
The first National Initiative of Theta Rho Nu, Black Books Matter, is a powerful and timely response to the ongoing and increasing efforts by legislators, policymakers, school boards, and certain parent groups to suppress the voices, histories, stories, and perspectives of Black authors in our educational institutions. This initiative stands as a bold statement against the systematic erasure of Black narratives from school curricula, recognizing the crucial role that these voices play in shaping a comprehensive and inclusive understanding of history, culture, and society. Through Black Books Matter, Theta Rho Nu aims to ensure that the contributions of Black authors are not only acknowledged but celebrated, preserving their rightful place in the literary and educational landscapes for current and future generations.
