Our Members
Theta Rho Nu Fraternity, Inc. (“TRN”) seeks professional Black SGL/GBQ+ men who are interested in being a part of an organization that not only gives back to its community but helps build it in their respective professions and daily lives. The fraternity is predicated upon and dedicated to the vision of being “together in strength, stoked by a passion to serve, we become what is needed, to do what is required.”
Our History
Envisioned in 2021 Theta Rho Nu also known as ThRN or Throne is an organization created for the Professional minority Same-Gender Loving man. Rooted in a desire to both create of network of excellence in service and a standard of exemplary delivery Throne aims to engender an environment of celebration and elevation of its members.
Our Programming
The goal of Theta Rho Nu Fraternity, Inc is not the simple accumulation of members, but rather, an emphasis is on the quality and integrity of its membership who aim to create and “provide synergetic connection between men excelling in scholastic and career advancement who are of similar life experiences.”
We seek these professional men who serve as positive role models within our communities who will help contribute to the vision, and thus, accomplish the goals and objectives set forth.
Requirements
for consideration for membership
Age
At least 25 years of age.
Civic Duty
Registered Voter
Education
Earned a High School Diploma/GED/Adult High School Diploma Equivalent
Academic/Career Advancement
Have earned or currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate/PhD program at an accredited university
- OR currently working in or retired from a professional career field
- OR an entrepreneur/ business owner
Who are you?
One letter of intent detailing the reason for your seeking membership, how you see yourself benefiting from becoming a member, and how you hope the organization benefits you.
Who sent you?
- One signed letter of support from a current member
- Two letters of recommendation from a community member, coworker, supervisor, or professor.
